Brandy on Black and White Film with a Studio Spotlight

So many of my favorite portrait images have come from experimentation, from taking a risk. Film inspires this process so much. I must trust my technique and my instincts, because I cannot simply review the images after the shot to see if the effect was intended. This particular lighting setup used an LED constant light and a cardboard serial box, cut and taped around it to act as a snoot, then diffused for softness. Shot on expired Ilford FP4 film for a bit of added mood.

Location :

Studio Sixty Reid, Charleston, South Carolina

Expired Ilford FP4 with a canon EOS 1V
