Documenting a Young Family Exploring New York City

This session will always have a special place in my heart. I photographed Anna and Bobby's wedding and now I had the opportunity to document their lives as young parents, navigating the often crazy world that is New York City. I flew up to New York and spent the better part of 2 days with them, exploring their favorite restaurants, walking their favorite routes, enjoying a glass of wine on the fire escape while their little one napped, and meeting up with friends for drinks and a church service the next day. It was beautiful to witness - to watch to observe. This session was shot entirely on film, with no posing or prompting - just observing. Anna and Bobby are the kindest people and I could not have enjoyed this experience any more.
