Ethereal Bridal Portrait and Boudoir Editorial in Historic Charleston South Carolina

One of the first editorial projects I ever worked on to this day contains some of my favorite bridal images. I worked with a local Charleston wedding planner to write a script and tell the story of a bride, riding that line between narrative and editorial. We follow the story of a bride, starting with the quiet moments of the morning, in lace lingerie, prepping for her day and musing about in a downtown Charleston, SC hotel through the whimsical exploration and foraging through one of Charleston's most famous gardens. The choice to shoot on Kodak Portra 800 film so perfectly complemented Brandy's red hair and the autumnal florals, that to this day they remain some of my favorite colors I've ever produced in a photograph.
