Large Format Film and an Editorial Bride and Groom in Charleston South Carolina

A large muslin cloth and the backyard of my Charleston SC studio served as the backdrop for this bride and groom editorial. I fell in love with this location the very first moment I shot in it. Backlight from the setting sun highlights the foliage behind and gives the couple a glow, while the reflecting light from the home behind me fills in their front. The lighting looked as if it was crafted in a studio setting. Sabine wore a Claire Pettibone dress and Kris wore a white tux from Berlin's menswear in Charleston. Shot entirely on Kodak film - I even busted out the large format 4x5 film camera for this one.
