Riley Against an Olive Backdrop on Expired Kodak Film

A fine art portrait session shot in my Northern Michigan studio. I took these portraits of Riley, in front of an Olive green seamless backdrop, early in my exploration of studio portraiture and they remain some of my favorites to this day. I love the expression and, in particular, the rendering of the expired Kodak Portra 160VC film I shot these on. There is something really beautiful about the red tint to the shadows and the slightly compressed dynamic range.
