Studio Portraits on Black and White Film Developed and Scanned in Studio
A studio portrait session on black and white film, inspired by Irving Penn. Some of my favorite portrait work is often the most simple. This set with Glennon was shot on Kodak Tri-X film, pushed 1 stop and rated at EI400, developed and scanned in house. I almost always shoot tri-x 400+1 in studio. I love the added grain and contrast from the push processing and tri-x seems to really shine with about a stop of over-exposure.
