Vintage Clothing Portrait Session Shot on the New Kodak Gold 200 120 Film

I met Mollie on Instagram and she sat in front of my lens for a portrait session at the perfect time. I had been waiting years for Kodak to release their Gold 200 film in medium format, 120. It has been available in 35mm forever and was always a favorite color film stock of mine. When they finally announced its release in 120, I scooped up a few boxes and was ready to get to work. I had a color palette in mind from my experience with the film in 35mm, and Mollie brought along the perfect vintage outfit to fit the vibe. I also had a, new to me, old truck that I was keen to show off. I fell in love with the colors of the film stock during this shoot. It was exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, my love for it has fallen off a bit the more I use it. It's versatility isn't quite what I wanted, but when you know where it shines, it's the perfect film - it's amazing against solid backdrops with studio lights.
