Anna & John

Charleston

South Carolina

May 25, 2024

Anna and John's wedding was just one of those events that couldn't possibly go any better. From the rehearsal dinner at High Cotton in downtown Charleston, through the end of the reception at Lowndes Grove - everything was just a masterclass in what a wedding should be. More importantly, a wedding this perfect couldn't have happened to better people. I always tell clients that compelling wedding photographs are a collaborative effort. Sure, I'm there to guide and to help and create an atmosphere for great photos, but what truly elevates a wedding gallery is when a client so fully embraces every moment of the wedding day. I never saw Anna stop smiling, except during our full hour of bridal portraits that she scheduled into the wedding timeline. This, merely a reflection of my love for dramatic, Vogue inspired bridal portraiture. I was thrilled to spend an entire hour on Anna's bridal portraits. When a client sees you for what you love, for what you excel at, for what you take pride in....it's the best feeling in the world. Bridal portraits are my favorite thing to photograph and my time spent with this sweet bride produced some of my favorites to date.

What We Love About it

From the Editor,

I can't say enough good things about a client who builds an hour of time into the schedule because she admires your bridal portraiture
